Why is the blog named Eve? As Susan Hunt points out, “”Eve means “life-giver.” Because of her rebellion the woman became a life-taker, but because of the promise of life [Gen. 3] she became a “life-giver.” This is more than biological. Woman’s redemptive calling is to be a life-giver in every relationship and circumstance,” (Woman’s Ministry in the Local Church). Through Christ, we can adorn the gospel in daily life, whether a task be big or small.
Eve is a blog of a pondering sinner who is saved by grace through Jesus Christ alone (Titus 3:5). I hope you enjoy your time in this little corner of the web.
